Limited Product Warranty
Limited Product Warranty
The BRADLEY name means hand-crafted artisan quality furniture made in the USA. We are proud of our tradition for quality, proud enough to give you this Limited Warranty on any piece in the BRADLEY furniture line.
What our Limited Warranty means
This Warranty is our promise to the original purchaser that, for a period of One (1) year from the Date of Delivery*, each piece of BRADLEY furniture will be free from manufacturing defects in materials, workmanship or construction. If any defect covered under this warranty does appear within the Warranty period, BRADLEY will take the steps described below to correct it. “Date of Delivery” is defined as the date the product was shipped from the BRADLEY warehouse.
Who is covered
This Limited Warranty protects only the original purchaser and applies only when you purchase the BRADLEY furniture for normal residential or commercial use from an authorized BRADLEY dealer
Implied Warranties
NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXTEND BEYOND THE TERM OF THIS WARRANTY.
Consequential or incidental damages
WE EXCLUDE AND WILL NOT PAY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES UNDER THIS WARRANTY. By this we mean any loss, expense, or damage other than to the furniture itself that may result from a defect in the furniture. The remedies provided under this Warranty state the limit of BRADLEY responsibilities.
What BRADLEY will do
We will remedy a manufacturing defect in any of your BRADLEY furniture as long you send a notice of the defect within the Warranty period (measured from the date of delivery). If you do notice a defect, it is important for you to act promptly and notify the authorized BRADLEY dealer from whom you purchased your furniture or call BRADLEY directly at (404) 814-9595 and ask for Customer Service.
When you notify the BRADLEY corporate office or the authorized BRADLEY dealer of the defect in your furniture, please provide us with reasonable proof of the date of purchase. After notification, it may be necessary for BRADLEY or the authorized BRADLEY dealer to arrange for an inspection of your furniture to determine whether or not a defect exits. If a defect does exist, it will be repaired. If BRADLEY determines that repair is not possible or feasible, you will be supplied with a replacement piece of BRADLEY furniture, if available, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality. If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, BRADLEY reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality. You will not be charged for any repair services or for the new replacement furniture. The repair or replacement of the BRADLEY furniture does not extend the duration of the Warranty period nor begin a new Warranty period.
Limitations on the coverage of our One Year Warranty
While we believe our Limited Warranty is a fair one, there are some limits to it. Any of the following things reduce our responsibility under this Warranty:
Original Purchaser
This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the BRADLEY furniture. By “original purchaser” we mean the first purchaser who takes retail delivery of the furniture for placement and use in a residential or commercial business location, otherwise known as the “end consumer.”
Improper Care and Use
Your BRADLEY furniture requires some routine maintenance. Please take care to treat your BRADLEY furniture like you would a fine antique. Keep the furniture clean, dusted and polished as you would any piece of fine furniture. This will prolong its life and help preserve its finish and natural beauty. Proper care and use are also essential to preserving your rights under this Warranty. We will not repair or replace your furniture if damage is caused by improper use, by improper installation or assembly, by improper maintenance or by improper cleaning. “Proper cleaning” is defined as any suitable cleaning method and products commonly used to clean fine antique furniture. This Warranty does not apply if product damage results from the use of inappropriate detergents, cleansers, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents on the furniture. Also, the warranty excludes if the product was placed/installed in a location that would not subject it to environmental conditions that would damage the materials or finish.
Refer to the BRADLEY product Care and Maintenance Guide for more details.
Accidents, Abuse and Normal Wear and Tear
This Warranty does not apply if an inspection by BRADLEY or an authorized BRADLEY dealer reveals that product damage results from abuse, normal wear and tear, improper installation/placement, combination/joining with 3rd party components, exposure to extreme conditions, outdoor use, or accidents, including without limitation burns, cuts, cracks, tears, scratches, scuffs, stains, indentations, rust or exposure to chemicals, moisture, direct sunlight or very high/low humidity. Once accepted at initial delivery, glass and mirror products are not covered for cracking, chipping, crazing or hazing for any reason. Wood products should not be place in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as radiant heaters. Concrete products are not covered under this warranty for hairline cracks, pits, sealer abrasion, discoloration or stains as these are normal characteristics of concrete surfaces. BRADLEY products or finishes are not warranted for outdoor use.
Natural Material Exclusion
This warranty does not apply to defects or damage that may occur within the One-year Warranty period in any “natural” materials used in BRADLEY furniture, including but not limited to natural characteristics and inherent flaws in stone slabs, petrified wood, natural edge wood, solid wood, reclaimed wood, selenite, onyx, marble, and the like.
Upholstery, Fabric and Wall Covering Exclusion
Since the manufacturers of upholstery fabrics and wall covering materials do no guarantee their products for wearing quality, colorfastness, fabric shrinkage, wrinkling or stretching, BRADLEY cannot extend a warranty against these problems to you. Likewise, Customer’s Own Material (COM) provided and used in upholstered furniture is not covered for any reason, nor is the labor to replace fabric due to fabric failure or defect. Foam and down cushions are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year.
Differences from Floor Samples and Literature
Because of the hand-made craftsmanship involved in each piece of BRADLEY furniture, variations in color, texture and patina can occur from piece to piece. Therefore, this Warranty does not cover such minor differences or differences between floor samples, web images or printed illustrations and BRADLEY furniture.
Freight/Installation damage
This Warranty does not cover damage caused by common carrier or the installation of BRADLEY furniture by subcontractors or in combination with 3rd party components.
How to make a claim
If you think there is a defect in any of your BRADLEY furniture and you want to make a claim under this Warranty, you must either notify the authorized BRADLEY dealer who sold you your furniture or notify BRADLEY directly. Please provide the address where the furniture is located and proof of purchase. Please describe the problem you are having with your BRADLEY furniture as fully and clearly as possible and include photographs of the defect. BRADLEY or the authorized BRADLEY dealer will arrange for an inspection of your furniture and, if necessary, for the return of the furniture for repair or replacement. After receiving notice of a defect or fault in a BRADLEY furniture product, BRADLEY will require a reasonable period of time in which to make the necessary adjustments.
If you have followed the procedures outlined above and are not satisfied with the resolution of your Warranty claim, please write or call us directly at:
